Chillicothe Fire Department describes the damage as significant while firefighters were able to save a house last night at 903 Woodward.

Upon arrival, Captain Derrick Allen stated occupants were outside of the house with fire coming out of windows in an upstairs corner room. An exterior attack was initiated and then the fire-fighting effort transitioned to the inside.

Allen reported the fire was quickly controlled and extinguished and no one was injured. Approximately two thousand gallons of water was used with firefighters on the scene for nearly two hours.

The fire department reports the owner-occupant as Shawn Graves. The family was offered assistance from a Chillicothe Fire Department chaplain and the Red Cross was contacted.
