President Trump put fourth familiar themes at his Appearance in southeast Missouri’s Cape Girardeau last night. Among other things, he continued to accuse Democrats of being soft on immigration policy while portraying many migrants as criminals. Trump said Democrats want to give undocumented migrants special privileges.
President Trump was surrounded by a number of state and national Republican operatives and conservative commentators. He closed out by urging the audience of 7,500 to vote for the GOP today.
Trump’s appearance was also a rally for Republican Senate candidate Josh Hawley, who is in a tight race with incumbent Democrat Claire McCaskill in today’s election.
