Audio: Missouri Day Festival opening ceremony is tonight at First Baptist Church in Trenton

The 34th annual Missouri Day Festival begins this evening with a soup supper, recognition and awards program, and vocal music – all at First Baptist Church in Trenton.

Debbie Carman is president of the Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce and discusses the opening ceremony.

 

 

While entry deadlines have passed for some of the festival contests, decorated pumpkins can be taken this afternoon, between 3 and 6 o’clock, to the Rock Barn area for judging.

The soup supper is from 5 until 7 o’clock this evening with donations going to the Ministerial Alliances’ Good Samaritan Fund The program starts at 7 o’clock in the sanctuary with the evening concluding with music presented by Trenton High School students.
