The popular documentary series “American Pickers” is set to film episodes in Missouri during June 2024. The show, broadcast on The History Channel, delves into the intriguing practice of antique picking, featuring seasoned pickers searching for valuable American antiques.  Missouri is not new to the TV show, as they have previously traveled through Missouri looking for hidden gems.

American Pickers, for those of you who do not know, is a documentary series that explores the world of antique “picking” on The History Channel. The show follows skilled pickers in the business, as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques. They are always excited to find sizeable, unique collections and learn the interesting stories behind them. As they hit the back roads from coast to coast, the Pickers are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics. Along the way, they want to meet “characters” with remarkable and exceptional items. They hope to give historically significant objects a new lease on life while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way. The Pickers have seen a lot of rusty gold over the years and are always looking to discover something they’ve never seen before.

Throughout their travels, the pickers have uncovered countless items termed as ‘rusty gold,’ and they are continually on the lookout for exceptional finds and the tales behind them.

For their upcoming trip to Missouri, the team is eager to explore collections hidden away from the public eye. Note that they do not explore stores, flea markets, malls, auction houses, museums, or publicly accessible locations.
