Additional cases in the Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court on Tuesday, December 8, 2020

Among additional cases processed Tuesday in the Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court, a Galt resident, Ryan Mitchell Hutcherson was placed on probation after pleading guilty to driving while intoxicated persistent offender. He was sentenced to six months at the Grundy County Detention Center which was then suspended by the court and replaced with two years probation. Hutcherson on this charge is to pay $300 to the law enforcement restitution fund and costs.

Hutcherson pleaded guilty to other charges stemming from September 6th which included operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, and failure to display plates on a motor vehicle. Those fines added up to $161.50 plus the court costs.

Trenton resident Robert Dennis Sutton pleaded guilty to driving while revoked or suspended as of May 29th. The imposition of a sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for one year, with the special condition that he obtain a valid driver’s license. Sutton is also pay incurred court costs.

Jessy Kathlyn White of Galt pleaded not guilty to three felony counts of first-degree harassment and a felony charge of hindering prosecution of a felony as of September 21st. She is scheduled to appear in court on February 9th.

Kirksville resident Jared Michael Newman pleaded guilty to misdemeanor counts of violating a protection order which covered one child and one adult. He was sentenced to serve 15 days in the Grundy County Detention Center on each count, with the sentences to run concurrently. Credit was given for time served. Newman is to pay a $150 fine on each count, the court costs, and donate $100 to the Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.
