4-H officer training will be held at the Chillicothe Litton Agriculture Center next month.
Officers will be instructed on the specific duties of their jobs the night of November 3rd from 6 to 8 o’clock and will learn how to complete official books and fulfill their responsibilities.
Other training topics will include making meetings fun, parliamentary procedure, 4-H trips, how to become a regional representative and state council officer, and best practices.
A select group of regional representatives and state council officers will lead the activities with 4-H council officers also assisting in leading the event.
All 4-H members are invited to attend, even if they do not currently hold an office.
Pre-registration is requested, but all are welcome the day of the event. Contact Sean Murphy at the Livingston County Extension Center at 660-646-0811 to register or for more information.
