Trenton City Council expected to discuss rental housing on Monday night

The Trenton City Council agenda for a Monday night (March 14th) meeting includes an ordinance amending the charge for having rental housing units inspected.  It is currently $35.00, with any re-inspections within a year charged $10.00.  The proposed amendment would make the charge $35.00 with every inspection done.

Another ordinance on the agenda corrects a typo in the time period whena two-hour parking limit is effective along Main Street between 9th and 13th.  The time period is from 9 AM to 5 PM.

The Trenton Council will consider bids for hay ground, mowing city-owned lots, and auditing services.

Also on the agenda are approval of asbestos abatement at 1901 Chestnut, and a closed session for legal and personnel matter.

Trenton City Council meetings typically include reports from members of the council, city administration, and the mayor —- plus any remarks from the public.

The Trenton City Council meets on Monday night, March 14th at 7 o’clock at Trenton City Hall.
