Agriculture tech update meeting using drones to be held at Bucklin

The University of Missouri Extension will hold an Ag Technology Update discussing drones and mobile technology use in agriculture and farm management decisions at the Bucklin R-2 School Vo-Ag Classroom the night of April 10th from 6:30 to 9 o’clock.

Topics to be covered include the potential uses of unmanned aerial vehicle technology in agriculture; agronomic, GPS, scouting, and livestock mobile applications for the farm; the latest in mobile technology; and an update on forage production technology and ultrasonic sensing for yield measurement.

Registration is $15 and is payable at the door.

Interested individuals should preregister by April 7th by calling the Linn County Extension Office at 660-895-5123.
