The Trenton Rotary Club heard a presentation at its meeting Thursday about the types of services the Hanger Clinic in Trenton provides.

Certified Orthotist and Rotary Club member Mary Easter said the clinic provides all types of prosthetic and orthopedic services to about 800 patients.

She showed a video featuring patients who discussed how the Hanger has changed their lives.

The video included individuals who lost limbs due to automobile and electrical accidents as well as youth who suffer from a rare genetic disorder, which can cause the loss of limbs and the need for prosthetics.

Easter said the clinic in Trenton is one of 700 throughout the country.

During the business meeting, the Rotary Club discussed the five-member Group Study Exchange Team from Argentina and Paraguay, which will be in District 6040 April 19th through May 19th.

The Trenton club will host the team April 26th and 27th.
