Rissler Elementary School of Trenton will begin Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) testing next week.

Rissler Assistant Principal Katie Burrell reports that third and fourth-grade students will test from April 26th to May 4th.  She notes students should get plenty of rest, eat three good meals a day, and do their best on the tests.

Burrell expressed appreciation to Bright Futures partners Immanuel Lutheran Church and Wesley United Methodist Church for offering to donate snacks for students during MAP testing.  She also expressed appreciation to Bright Futures partner CFM Insurance for sponsoring a trip to the YMCA for students meeting BARK expectations.

Students who scored proficient or advanced on their tests last year will be recognized during a testing assembly Friday, April 20th. Those students were also rewarded with an afternoon of bowling last Friday, April 13th.

Burrell believes students and teachers at Rissler have worked hard all year, and they will do their best on the MAP testing.
