Three veteran music artists who have played together for several years will be featured during the Chillicothe Area Arts Council’s Spring Event at Locust and Ann.

Husband and wife Ann and Terry Brock and local pianist Jamie Pauls will perform at the event at the Cultural Corner Art Guild and Gallery in Chillicothe the night of May 5th. Doors will be open at 6 o’clock, and the entertainment begins at 7 o’clock.

Vocalist Ann Brock is a veteran of many of the Midwest Country Opry shows and fronts the group Fresh Cut Grass with her husband. She works with the Saint Joseph Symphony and has been a part of several of their performances.

Fiddler player Terry Brock performed with a traveling country music show in Missouri and in several bands before joining the Worlds of Fun Theme Park Musicians at the Country Junction Amphitheatre in Kansas City. He plays country, bluegrass, traditional, jazz, rock, and classical music.

Jamie Pauls has played piano or keyboard for more than 30 years, performing with the local country band Country Sunshine in high school before joining local gospel band His Song. He graduated from the University of Missouri—Kansas City with a degree in Music Therapy and plays piano in several area bands.

The Spring Event at Locust and Ann requires a reservation with tickets paid in advance. Tickets cost $25 per person or $175 for a table of eight.
