NCMC instructor gives presentation at Mid-American Alliance for African Studies

A North Central Missouri College instructor lead helped organize and presented at the Mid-American Alliance for African Studies.

Political Science Instructor Doctor Sterling Recker is the president of the Mid-American Alliance for African Studies. He presented on Competing Narratives of Destruction and Development: The Politicization of Memory in Post-Genocide Rwanda.

Dean of Instruction Mitch Holder says Recker did “an exceptional job” on his research. Holder adds that Recker’s work and leadership role with the Mid-American Alliance for African Studies provide NCMC with an educational resource on African Studies.
