The Missouri State Highway Patrol has reported a total of 16 arrests across north Missouri between April 15 and April 18, 2024. The arrests were made for various reasons including driving-related offenses, possession of controlled substances, and outstanding warrants.
Manaia L. Langi, 38, from Tukwila, Washington, was arrested in Grundy County on April 15 at 9:16 AM. Langi faced charges from the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department for exceeding the posted speed limit by 20-25 mph, which is considered a misdemeanor, and for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license. He is currently held by Livingston County authorities with an option to post bond.
In Holt County, Chad E. Cole, 27, of Lees Summit, Missouri, was apprehended on the same day at 10:56 AM. Cole was charged with two misdemeanors for traffic offenses from previous warrants issued by the Lees Summit Police Department and for driving without a valid license. He is bondable at the Holt County Sheriff’s Office.
Jermey L. Gothard, 45, from St. Joseph, Missouri, was taken into custody later that afternoon at 2:51 PM in Buchanan County. Gothard was charged with a misdemeanor assault on law enforcement based on an outstanding St. Joseph Police Department warrant. He was held at the Buchanan County Law Enforcement Center with bond available.
Shortly thereafter, Stephanie M. Schumacher, 46, also from St. Joseph, Missouri, was arrested at 3:11 PM on charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating a vehicle without a valid license. Schumacher is being held under a 24-hour hold at the Buchanan County Law Enforcement Center.
Later in the evening, at 9:51 PM in Caldwell County, Mary E. Danaher, 65, of North Kansas City, Missouri, faced charges of DWI (1st offense) and careless and imprudent driving involving a crash. She was placed in a 24-hour hold at the Caldwell County Detention Center.
On April 16, Adam A. Ahmed, 48, from Lincoln, Nebraska, was arrested in Andrew County at 3:00 PM for two traffic offenses with outstanding warrants from Buchanan County. He is currently held at the Andrew County Law Enforcement Center with bond available.
Kortni L. Ross, 33, of Elwood, Kansas, faced arrest on April 17 at 11:47 AM in Buchanan County. Ross was charged with a misdemeanor for driving while revoked or suspended based on a warrant from the St. Joseph Police Department. She is bondable at the Buchanan County Law Enforcement Center.
Later that day, at 1:43 PM, Juan G. Rojo, 24, from St. Joseph, Missouri, was arrested on charges including failing to appear for a moving traffic violation and having no insurance. Rojo was held at the Buchanan County Law Enforcement Center with an option for bond.
Rose M. Emmons, 29, also from St. Joseph, Missouri, was taken into custody at 4:10 PM on the same day. Emmons faced charges for failing to appear related to driving while suspended or revoked, and for not wearing a seat belt. She was held at the Buchanan County Law Enforcement Center and is bondable.
In Harrison County, Blayne A. Fitzsimmons-Lewis, 34, from Boone, Iowa, was arrested at 6:21 PM. Fitzsimmons-Lewis was charged with felony DWI, no valid license, and careless and imprudent driving but was released for medical treatment.
On the same day at 7:34 PM in Clinton County, Jared R. Juergens, 25, from Kansas City, Missouri, faced multiple charges including felony resisting arrest, felony leaving the scene of an accident, and misdemeanor DWI. He also faced charges for exceeding the speed limit by more than 26 mph, careless driving, failing to register a motor vehicle, and failing to stop at a stop sign. Juergens is held under a 24-hour hold at the Clinton County Jail.
Brayden K. Wrenn, 22, of Princeton, Missouri, was arrested on April 18 at 7:42 PM in Livingston County. Wrenn faced charges for driving while intoxicated and excessive speeding (102 in a 60 mph zone). He was released.
Later that night, Michael Orr, 50, from Saint Joseph, Missouri, was arrested at 10:51 PM in Buchanan County for driving while revoked and having a misdemeanor warrant for traffic-related offenses from the Saint Joseph Police Department. Orr is bondable at the Buchanan County Law Enforcement Center.
Kafele S. Garcia, 27, from Kansas City, Missouri, faced multiple charges on April 16 at 7:25 PM in Linn County for speeding, along with Henry and Platte County warrants for failure to appear. Garcia is currently held under a 24-hour hold at the Macon County Jail.
Alexis J. Luck, 25, from Moberly, Missouri, was arrested at 8:17 PM on April 16 in Randolph County for driving while intoxicated. She was released from the Moberly Police Department following the arrest.
Lastly, Joseph C. Lain, 20, from Hunnewell, Missouri, was arrested on April 18 at 12:57 PM in Shelby County on a felony warrant for probation violation. He is currently bondable at the Marion County Jail.
