Charges stemming from a crash last June five miles west of Ridgeway were transferred on Tuesday on a change of venue to Grundy County.

Tamasha Latrece Foster of Fulton faces two counts of trafficking drugs and one count of unlawfully possessing a firearm.

The Highway Patrol, at the time of the crash, reported two occupants were injured when a car exited Interstate 35 and struck an embankment. The accident report noted the car was being pursued by law enforcement.

Her son, Semaj Foster, had his cases moved to Grundy County on a change of venue from Harrison County. He was convicted in a January jury trial on charges that included two counts of trafficking drugs and resisting arrest by fleeing.

Sentencing for Foster is scheduled for April 11 in Division One of the Grundy County Circuit Court.
