Chillicothe woman injured in southwest Missouri rollover crash

A rollover accident on Highway A, three miles south of Golden City, Missouri, resulted in minor injuries for a Chillicothe woman on the afternoon of March 17, 2024.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 3:50 p.m. when a 2011 Dodge Ram, driven by 40-year-old Cailin R. Dixon, swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle. The Dodge Ram veered off the right side of the roadway, struck a culvert, and overturned. Dixon was wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident.

She sustained minor injuries and was transported by emergency medical services to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin for treatment.

The accident caused extensive damage to the Dodge Ram, which was subsequently towed by Parks Towing.
