The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest and extradition of a Brookfield man on a capias warrant for failure to appear in court on felony possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid.
Forty-six-year-old Scott Lee Sims was arrested on Tuesday and extradited from Linn County to Grundy County. Bond is $15,000, 10% approved, and he is scheduled for Division One of Grundy County Circuit Court on Thursday.
Court documents accuse Sims of possessing methamphetamine.
