The Chillicothe Area Arts Council has moved the show dates of the Chillicothe High School Players performance of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
Arts Council President Mary Lou VanDeventer explains the show was moved in anticipation for the Chillicothe High School’s football team entering the playoffs.
She says the Arts Council is partnering with the CHS Players under the direction of Lisa Rule for Beauty and the Beast. The performances will be at the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center in Chillicothe the night of November 30th at 7 o’clock, the night of December 1st at 7 o’clock, and the afternoon of December 3rd at 2 o’clock.
The CHS Players will handle ticket sales with tickets costing $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and students. They may be purchased the day of the show.
VanDeventer says the Arts Council has a good relationship with the Chillicothe High School Drama Department. She adds that the mission of the Arts Council is to bring entertainment to Chillicothe and educate the community by partnering with area schools.
She says is excited to be able to work with the high school students and Lisa Rule to network with them and enhance their performances.
