The highway patrol reports the driver of a car, 43 year old Jennifer Sprout, received moderate injuries and was flown by medical helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia. Her passenger, 14 year old Elizabeth Horine, received minor injuries. The patrol noted she was to seek her own treatment.

The eastbound car went off the south side of Highway 6, the driver over-corrected causing the car to go off the north side where it struck an embankment, overturned, struck a fence and came to rest on its wheels.
