A Humphreys man was injured last night when, according to the highway patrol, he was thrown off a southbound motorcycle when it ran off Highway 139.
The report says 51-year-old Charles Fields of Humphreys was flown by medical helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia.
The state patrol last night described his injuries as serious.
The report says Fields was using a safety device and extensive damage was reported to the custom made motorcycle.
