Braymer teen hurt in Saturday crash

A Braymer resident was hurt Saturday night when the pickup truck he was driving traveled off a lettered route north of Braymer.

16-year old Alexander Rogers of Braymer was taken by private vehicle to Hedrick Medical Center at Chillicothe with moderate injuries.

The accident happened nine miles north of Braymer on Route A when the southbound pickup went off the left side of the road hitting a tree demolishing the pickup.

It was unknown whether rogers was wearing a seat belt.
