The Trenton High School Band placed last in its class during events in southwest Missouri on Saturday.
Trenton Band Director Tim Gilham indicated Trenton faced stiff competition some of which was forced indoors because of rain. Gilham said there were some amazing bands in Trenton’s class.
Results from the Branson Marching Invitational found Mountain Home, Arkansas first, Waterloo, Illinois second, Monett third, St. James fourth and Trenton fifth.
The rankings at the Ozark Mountain Marching Festival at Reeds Spring were Harrison, Arkansas first, Salem second Cassville third, Smith Cotton fourth, St. James fifth and Trenton sixth.
