Putnam County Public Water Supply District Number One has joined the North Central Missouri Regional Water Commission as an associate member.
The Public Water Supply District is the 14th associate member with the Commission.
The Water Commission has actively recruited surrounding communities and water districts for associate membership in order to facilitate planning for water distribution for the East Locust Creek Reservoir.
Commission General Manager Brad Scott says Putnam County Public Water Supply District Number One and other associate members are important to the planning process.
