A Kirksville resident was injured in a rollover accident Monday afternoon in eastern Putnam County three miles north of Glendale.
Twenty-five-year-old Mackenzie Schramm was taken by ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center of Kirksville. The highway patrol reported she was using a seat belt and listed her injuries as minor.
Ms. Schramm was driving southbound on Highway 149 when her car traveled off the right side of the road, the driver over-corrected, returned to the road and traveled off the other side, overcorrected again, came back onto the road where it overturned several times and came to rest on its top.
The car was demolished in the crash that happened at about 2:30 Monday afternoon.
