A transportation issue has been corrected that should resolve mail delivery problems for Humphreys residents, according to United States Postal Service Strategic Communications Manager Mark Inglett, who apologizes on behalf of the postal service for any inconvenience experienced.

Mail for Humphreys has been processed through Galt, and this will continue, Inglett reports.

When mail service issues arise, the postal service takes steps to quickly address customer concerns, explains Inglett. He emphasizes that the postal service will respond to any community issues as soon as they are brought to its attention.

Customers are encouraged to contact their local postal station if they have concerns, or visit usps.com and click on “Contact Us” at the bottom of the homepage. Alternatively, customers can send a message via usps.force.com/emailus/s, or call customer service at 1-800-ASK-USPS (1-800-275-8777).

Inglett notes that emails received by the postal service are documented and appropriate actions are taken to enhance service.

He asserts that the postal service is “committed to providing the best possible service to its customers” and appreciates their patience. Inglett also expresses pride in the efforts of postal employees.
