A Gallatin man was hurt Saturday morning west of Gallatin when he attempted to make a right turn off Highway 6 onto Route DD, but the sports utility vehicle he was driving went off the lettered road and hit a ditch.
71-year-old Ronald Moore of Gallatin was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
The accident took place four miles west of Gallatin as Moore was westbound on Highway 6, attempted to make a right turn at Route DD, but the vehicle went off the west side of DD and hit a ditch.
The SUV sustained moderate damage and the patrol report noted Moore was wearing a seatbelt.
