Fifty people voted absentee in Tuesday’s general election during special hours this last weekend at the Grundy County Clerk’s office in Trenton.
There now have been 482 absentees returned to the clerk’s office with 42 absentee ballots requested but not yet returned.
Registered voters unable to vote at the polls Tuesday may cast an absentee ballot until Monday afternoon at 5 o’clock at county clerks offices in Missouri.
