Grundy County Democrats convened on Tuesday evening to elect delegates for the upcoming Congressional and State Conventions.
The elected delegates are Jackie Soptic and Glen Briggs, with Dorothy Taul and Dan Dennis serving as alternate delegates. Grundy County is entitled to two delegates and alternates, a number determined by the average vote in the previous two Democratic Presidential Primaries. These representatives will serve as delegates for President Biden.
President Biden is the sole candidate who garnered the necessary votes in Grundy County to qualify for delegate representation.
