Brandon Gibler named as Trenton Fire Chief

The Trenton City Council has approved the employment of Brandon Gibler as the next Trenton Fire Department Chief, effective July 6, when current Chief Rick Morris retires.

Brandon Gibler has served 18 years with the Trenton and Grundy County Rural Fire departments. He’s assistant chief of the Grundy County Rural Fire Department and a firefighter for the Trenton department.

His starting salary as the Trenton Fire Chief is $44,647.

There were 20 applicants for the job, with four interviews.  Gibler was named as Chief this morning at a city council meeting.
