This is the second day of events for the 125th annual Jameson community picnic.

Registration for the baby show is at 6 o’clock tonight. There’s no cost to enter. There will be five age divisions ranging from birth to 36 months. The contest also features the selection of the Little Mister and Miss among children three and four years old. The starting time for the baby show is 6:30.

Music from the 1950’s and 60’s has the Fabulous Torque’s performing starting at 8 o’clock tonight. Persons attending are to take lawn chairs.

A full day of activities is planned Saturday at the Jameson city park.

Among other notes, Mustang Amusements will be set up at Jameson; the Jameson Lions offer food concessions, and persons are invited to take old eye glasses and hearing aids to the park and donate them to the Jameson Lions Club.

The Lions Club of Jameson has hosted the picnic every year since 1952.
