Veterans service officer available for in-person visits at Trenton VFW Hall

Two upcoming dates have been announced for veterans to receive in-person assistance at the VFW Hall Post 919 in Trenton. The service officer will be available on April 1 and April 5, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on both days. Assistance will be provided for handling Veterans Administration paperwork and answering any questions related to veterans’ benefits. Attendees are required to bring a copy of their DD 214 and all relevant VA paperwork to ensure comprehensive support.

Additionally, on April 5, a representative from the Missouri Veterans Commission will be present at the VFW Hall from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Furthermore, a Vet Center counselor will also be available at the VFW Hall on April 5, from 11 a.m. until all individuals have been assisted. Veterans seeking to make an appointment with the counselor should call 660-359-2078.

There is also a call for drivers for the VA shuttle service operating from Trenton to Kansas City and various medical clinics. Veterans who need to schedule a ride to their medical appointments can contact Veterans Service Officer Wayne Kleinschmidt at 660-359-2078.
