Princeton Chamber announces April 22nd event, also seeking help for July 4th fireworks display

Fireworks at Night

The Princeton Chamber of Commerce will be holding a dessert and salad competition, along with their annual meeting, on Friday, April 22nd.  Those attending are asked to take your best dessert and/or salad.  The chamber will provide the rest of the meal and drinks that evening, starting at 6 o’clock in the basement meeting room of the Hal England Center in Princeton.

In other related announcements from the chamber, Princeton’s community-wide garage sales will be Saturday May 7th.

If you would like to have your garage sale location on a map, contact Kelly Bertrand at Kelly’s Hairum or Donna Herdrich at The Famous. The cost for printing the location on a map is $5.00.  The City of Princeton is renting a dumpster the weekend of May 7th for residents in the City of Princeton only. The dumpster will be placed by the city barn.

A pyrotechnician is still needed for the 4th of July celebration in Princeton.  City officials caution that without a pyrotechnician handling the show, there will not be an Independence Day fireworks show in Princeton.  Those to contact, in Princeton, are Kelly Bertrand or Donna Herdrich.
