The Community Action Partnership of North Central Missouri will hold the Ninth Annual Green Hills Women’s Expo Saturday.

Those attending the expo will be able to browse about two dozen vendors set up in the Trenton High School gym and Commons for free from 9 o’clock in the morning to 2 o’clock in the afternoon.

CAPNCM Women’s Health Services Office Records Manager Linda Baugher says Santa Claus will be at the expo from 9 o’clock to noon. She invites children of all ages to visit Santa and get pictures with him.

There will be entertainment, including performances by Stephanie Hickman’s Dance Studio at 11 o’clock and Midwest Dance Synergy at 1 o’clock. Baugher notes vegetable soup, chili, hot dogs, nachos, coffee, and soda will be available.

Women’s Health Licensed Coordinator Vicky West says booth spaces are still available starting at $40 and electricity is available upon request. West notes there are also banner sponsorships available for $25 for banners to be displayed in the gym during the Women’s Expo. Businesses need to supply their own banner.

Vendor fees go to help the Women’s Health Services program, which provides low-cost health care options to about 1,000 women each year, many of who do not have another resource for health care. Baugher notes federal dollars have decreased over the years and fundraising and donations from community members are needed in order to provide the services.

Anyone interested in having a booth or banner sponsorship at the Women’s Expo should call the Community Action Partnership’s Office at 660-359-3907 extension 1049 and ask for Jennifer.

Vendor applications are also available at the Green Hills Women’s Health website.
