A woman reported as missing, and who was the subject of a law enforcement search Sunday afternoon, was located Sunday night according to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department.

It was 1:48 Sunday afternoon when the sheriff’s Department, Trenton Police, and Department of Conservation were searching the Thompson River area along the Mocking Bird Hill River Access in Trenton for Amanda Mathews-Millard. She had last been known to be in the wooded area south of the access parking lot around 7 p.m. Saturday.

A short update, without further details from the sheriff’s department, at 8:44 Sunday night announced the woman was located.

On Monday morning, Sheriff Herring reported that Mathews-Millard arrived at the law enforcement center Sunday night, telling police that she was fine.
