Spickard firefighters respond to overnight grass fire
A spokesman for the Spickard Fire Protection District reports a fire overnight burned about half an acre near a sawmill. Training Officer Jesse Richmond said seven personnel responded to the Enos Schwatzentruber property near Spickard about 1:30 this morning. Richmond noted Spickard was assisted by the Mercer County Fire Protection District.
