An Albany woman sustained minor injuries in a traffic accident in DeKalb County Thursday morning.
The Patrol reports 54-year-old Rebecca Thompson traveled too fast for conditions on southbound Dallas Road about two miles south of Weatherby when she entered into a right curve and her car began to slide.
She over-corrected, causing the vehicle to run off the road and strike an embankment before returning to the road and coming to a rest on its wheels facing south.
The car received moderate damage and EMS transported Thompson to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
The Patrol reports she wore a safety device at the time of the accident.
