The highway patrol reports a Trenton woman and two children were injured when thrown from an ATV early Sunday afternoon.

The patrol listed injuries as moderate for 26 year old Misty Hanes, minor for six year old Payton Hanes, and eight year old Chase Sharp both of Trenton. The patrol said Ms. Hanes was taken by ambulance to Wright Memorial after the mishap six miles west of Trenton

The report noted parents refused treatment at the scene for the children.

An investigating officer reported the ATV was westbound in the yard at 795 Highway 190, when the driver made an abrupt right hand turn while accelerating. The ATV made a clockwise rotation and overturned one time, ejecting all three occupants. None of them were using a safety device. Minor damage was noted to the all terrain vehicle.
