Two teenage boys were operating ATV’s when, according to the patrol, one struck the rear of the other.
One of the drivers, 15 year old Tanner Hermanson of Cameron, received moderate injuries when thrown from the overturning ATV. He was taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
The Sunday afternoon accident on Haven Road was just south of old Pattonsburg. The other ATV operator, Fifteen year-old Jared Groebe of Osborn, apparently wasn’t hurt. Minor damage was noted to the ATV’s. Both boys were using safety devices.
