Scrappy Quilters to host show during Missouri Day Festival

The Scrappy Quilters Quilt Guild will host a show during the Missouri Day Festival at Trenton.

The quilt show will be held October 14th through 16th at the former J.C. Penney store location at Eastgate Shopping Center.

There will be both judged and non-judged competition with categories to include hand quilted, machine quilted, wearable or table topper/wall hangings.

Entry forms are available at the Trenton Chamber of Commerce, the Republican Times, and from the guild’s Facebook page which can be found HERE.

The deadline to enter paperwork is October 5th with entries to be sent to Kendra Cox at 402 Southwest Elm Lane in rural Trenton by October 12.

The quilt guild is selling chances to win an “Opportunity Quilt” made by quilt members which will be on display in the coming weeks at various local banks. Members of the guild will be selling tickets at the Hy-Vee food store on September 29th.

The quilt show will be held the Friday, October 14th from 5 until 8 o’clock, as well as during the day on October 15th from 11 until 5, and Sunday, October 16th from 11 until 3 o’clock.

Admission to the quilt show will be $2.00.
