Using a “come and go” format, information will be available this evening about the proposed replacement of the 17th Street bridge in Trenton.

The city of Trenton will host an open forum tonight, Wednesday, March 29 at the Sugg Room of the NCMC Ketcham community center. The event is open from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock  and personnel will be there to answer questions about the project as well as the proposed three-eighths of a percent local sales tax to provide the city’s share in financing replacement of the bridge.

Ron Urton is the Trenton City Administrator.

Urton noted a sales tax on eligible products is paid by everyone who shops in Trenton, not just the residents.

For this election, there’s a total of 4,016 registered voters in the four wards of the city of Trenton.
