Highway patrol arrests Cameron woman
The Highway Patrol reports the arrest of a Cameron woman in Dekalb County early Tuesday morning. The Patrol accused 58-year-old Therese Lewis of the misdemeanor of driving while intoxicated as well as no insurance and possession of marijuana, prior offender. She was taken to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail on a 12-hour hold.

Laredo R-7 enrollment down from a year ago
Laredo R-7 School District began classes Tuesday with fewer students enrolled than first-day enrollment last year. Laredo’s first-day enrollment for kindergarten through seventh grade was 41 students which is down seven from a year ago. The largest grade is sixth with eight students and Kindergarten is the smallest grade with two students enrolled.
