Pedestrian hit by pickup near Richmond

A pedestrian walking along Highway 10 east of Richmond was hurt this morning when he was hit by a pickup truck.

23-year-old Travis Potter of Richmond was taken to Ray County Memorial Hospital at Richmond with moderate injuries.

The accident happened at approximately 5:20 this morning about seven miles east of Richmond on Highway 10. The patrol reports a westbound pickup hit the pedestrian, who was walking on or near the white line.

The driver of the pickup, 32-year-old Randy Forrest of Hale was not reported hurt in the incident, however, his pickup received minor damage.
