The Jamesport Tri-County Board of Education at a special meeting Monday moved to restructure the Principal position.
The position was restructured from a prekindergarten to 12th-grade principal to a secondary principal position for fifth through 12th grade and a part-time elementary position for pre-kindergarten through fourth grade.
During an executive session, the board accepted the resignation of Whitney Olson as the pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade principal. The resignation will go into effect at the end of this school year.
