A single-vehicle accident occurred on Highway 63, one mile south of Kirksville on Tuesday, April 17, 2024, at approximately 1:30 p.m., involving a 2010 Ford Escape.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the driver, Brittany L. Miller, 30, of Brookfield, Missouri, lost control and veered off the left side of the roadway, colliding with a guardrail.
Miller sustained minor injuries in the crash and was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. She was transported to Northeast Regional Medical Center by Adair County Ambulance for treatment. The Ford Escape suffered minor damage and was towed to Kirksville Autoworks.
The incident was assisted by the Adair County Sheriff’s Department and the Kirksville Fire Department.
