Fire Saturday afternoon destroyed a small farm tractor parked in a field at 1909 Moberly Street in Trenton.
Trenton Fire Department Lieutenant Jeremy Summers said the tractor previously had been operated, had issues, and was to be serviced. However, the specific cause of the fire was unknown.
The owner of the tractor was listed as Andy Burress and the landowner as Scott Lewis, both of Trenton.
Firefighters from the Trenton and Grundy County Rural departments responded to the scene.
