The theme for the Trenton Golden Bulldog Marching Band’s field show this year is “Internal Combustion” but, Director Tim Gilham says the piece of music was originally entitled “Engines.”
The color guard also performs during the field shows which is made up of nine high schoolers and two middle school understudies, and Gilham notes he does not know of any other school who has understudies.
Gilham says the formations in the field show do not actually create a picture of anything in particular.
The Trenton marching band’s first competition of the season is at Carrollton Band Day Saturday.
