A business with locations in Trenton and Chillicothe, Barnes-Baker Automotive, will receive the Missouri Community College Association’s Distinguished Business and Industry Award which is to be presented at the association’s annual convention, November 3rd at Branson, Missouri.
Barnes and Baker was a large financial contributor to North Central Missouri College’s recent campaign to renovate Geyer Hall. The company has also contributed to past campaigns and to NCMC Foundations’ golf tournament and Holiday Hoops.
Brent Wyant, the owner of the business, had been a North Central Foundation board member for many years serving on several foundation committees.
The Distinguished Business/Industry Award is presented annually by the MCCA Auto individuals and/or businesses that have engaged in partnerships with their local community college to stimulate economic activity and support community college students and programs.
