The city walking trail will be the location for a nighttime fundraiser this Saturday to benefit Community Action Partnership of North Central Missouri.

This is a non-profit organization that focuses on assisting low-income people in their efforts to become self-reliant. The agency receives federal funding but it comes with restrictions on how it can be spent. Hosting a local event, such as the Zombie run, generates money to further the agency mission.

The Zombie run begins at 7 o’clock Saturday night at Eastside Park and ends at the Trenton Rock Barn.

With details on how the Zombie run works, registration, and prizes, here’s Community Action executive director Aaron Franklin:

For more information on the Zombie run, contacts at the Community Action Partnership are Development Director Amanda Spencer and Executive Director Aaron Franklin. The office, which serves the nine Green Hills counties, is located at 1506 Oklahoma Avenue in Trenton.
