The Wright Memorial Hospital foundation sponsored the Wright Run on Saturday morning at Trenton. Foundation Director Kurt Mylenbusch reports 125 participants. He noted the event raised approximately 65 hundred dollars for the hospital foundation.

Results have been obtained from the online website “It’s Your Race.”

Participants wore a timing chip inside a big to electronically keep track of times.

The team competition, for a distance of 5 kilometers, was won by Modine Manufacturing. The four members had an overall time of two hours, 18 minutes and 30 seconds. Members are Ben Holmes, Jason Cruthis, Miles Moore, and Luke Shackleford. Coming in second place was the Toby Williams family at Laredo.

Individually, the fastest time in the 10K came from Roberto Garcia with 40 minutes 30 seconds. Richard Witten was second among the men. For the women in the 10K, Kristi Weldon was first with 51 minutes 40 seconds; Amber Miller was second.

In the 5-K division of the Wright Run, the winner among the males was Derek McClure, time of 18 minutes 48 seconds. Second to Caleb Berry. For the women in 5-K, Rhiannon McKay finished first with a time of 30 minutes 25 seconds. Second went to Mallory Sole.
