Woman life-flighted after accident in northwest Missouri

A northwest Missouri resident was hurt Tuesday morning when the pickup truck she was driving went off a road in Worth County, hit a hay bale and overturned.

30-year old Alicia Kennedy of Parnell, Missouri was flown by medical helicopter to Mosaic Life Care at St. Joseph with serious injuries.

The accident happened three miles north of Sheridan on Route H when the southbound pickup went off the right side of the road at a curve, struck a bale of hay, overturned, and came to rest on its top demolishing the vehicle.

Ms. Kennedy was wearing a seatbelt.
