A Warrensburg man was arrested yesterday on a warrant accusing him with four felonies more than a year ago at Trenton businesses.
26-year-old Mark Anthony Lockhart faces two counts of second-degree burglary as well as one count each of tampering of a motor vehicle and stealing the same vehicle. Bond was set at 25 thousand dollars cash with Lockhart to appear June 28th in the associate division of the Grundy County Circuit Court.
Lockhart is accused of acting in concert with one or more persons to make unlawful entry February 26th of last year at Jim’s Building Supplies in north Trenton as well as unlawful entry March 9th, 2015 at Lakeview Restaurant and Motor Lodge in east Trenton. Lockhart also is accused of acting in concert with one or more persons to deface and steal a pickup (1993 G-M-C Sierra) owned by James Gross of Trenton.
Lockhart was arrested yesterday in Johnson County.
The Grundy County Sheriff’s Department was bringing him to Trenton today for incarceration at the Grundy County Detention Center to await a court appearance or post bond.
